I. Certified Food Protection Manager Information

  • Listed below are providers for local training options training and one or more of the approved examinations from the aforementioned accredited testing organizations:
  • Please see the new law that affects Home Based Vendors. Indiana House Bill 1149 was recently passed and took effect July 1, 2022. As a part of this new legislation, all HBVs are now required to take a recognized food safety training and must provide a copy of the certificate to the local health department in the county where the HBVs residence is located. 
  • A valid certified Food Manager/Handler Certificate must include the following accreditation: 
    ANSI

Office hours for staff are normally 8am to 9:30am Monday through Friday for walk-ins. We urge you to make an appointment prior to walking in as staff may be out of the office doing field work.
