Athletic Programs

Monroe County Parks and Recreation hosts a variety of sport programs including youth and adult soccer, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, disc golf, and others. We offer in-house Pick-Up and League Soccer in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Tuesday Night 6v6 Pick-Up Soccer

Tuesday Night 6v6 Pick-Up Soccer is for women and men of all skill levels. Beginners and past college players are welcome. The Tuesday night league meets every Tuesday from 7:00pm-8:30pm on Fields 6 and 7. We offer a field for beginners, two fields for moderate and one field for advanced players. In order to keep costs down the pick-up games do not have referees. It is up to each individual to play safely and with regard for their opponents. There are no slide tackles allowed and body contact is strictly prohibited. Participants should bring their completed registration forms with them to the fields. The Tuesday Night 6v6 Pick-Up Soccer season begins on Tuesday, April 4. The last day of Tuesday Night 6v6 Pick-Up Soccer will be Tuesday, October 24. Tuesday Night 6v6 Pick-Up Fees: Day Pass- $8.00 or Unlimited Pass- $118. Please be sure to bring both a white shirt and a dark shirt to the games. Please no gray shirts.

Thursday Night 6v6 League Soccer

Thursday Night 6v6 League is for women and men of all skill levels. League games are played every Thursday evening with 7:00pm and 8:30pm start times. Games will take place on Fields 6 and 7.  Each game consists of two forty-minute halves.  In order to keep costs down the 6v6 League games do not have referees. It is up to each individual to play safely and with regard for their opponents. There are no slide tackles allowed and body contact is strictly prohibited.

Spring Session– Starting date- April 6. Ending date- May 25 (Registration Deadline April 2)

Summer Session– Starting date-June 8. Ending date- July 27  (Registration Deadline June 4)

Fall Session– Starting date- August 10. Ending date October 5  (Registration Deadline August 6)

Rain-out Policy: The season will just be extended another week for each rain date.  The dates of the sessions below are based on one built-in rain date.  If the fields are closed more than once during a session the start and end dates will be adjusted accordingly.

Disc Golf League

League Dates: TBA for 2023
Tournament: TBA for 2023

The 2023 disc golf league will be a bring your partner doubles league that is a “best-shot” format. There will be Competitive, Casual and Beginner skill divisions. Participants will have one week to get a round in and report scores. Weeks one and three will take place at Karst while weeks two and four will be at Crestmont. If participants miss a week they are able to make it up the week leading up to the tournament. The tournament winner of the competitive division will win a traveling trophy that will be passed around from year to year. Winners of the casual and beginner divisions will receive gift cards.
