Human Rights Commission


The Monroe County Human Rights Ordinance promotes equal opportunity in employment, housing, education and access to public accommodations, regardless of race, sex, religion, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry or disability. 

The ordinance also prohibits familial status discrimination in housing.

The Monroe County Human Rights Commission usually meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month but please check the Events Calendar in case there are any changes.
