2014 Property Tax Payments
Courtesy letters will be mailed soon for properties that have delinquent taxes and are in danger of being put in the tax sale. These letters are intended to advise tax payers of this so that we can avoid the requirement to sell these properties at a tax sale.
The Spring installment will be due May 12, 2014
The Fall installment will be due November 10, 2014.
Late payments will receive a 5% penalty for the first 30 days, if there are no past due delinquent taxes. If a payment is received after June 12, 2014 (Spring installment) or December 10, 2014 (Fall installment) the penalty will increase to 10%. If you have delinquent taxes from prior years after the due date, your property will not receive the grace period of 30 days and so will receive a 10% penalty immediately.
