The mission of the Monroe County Human Resources Department is to be proactive in providing quality and professional human resources services, training, and support to all Monroe County Offices and employees in a manner which promotes personal and organizational growth, efficiency, and equality; to also ensure courteous, well-qualified employees are recruited, developed and retained so that the Citizens of Monroe County may continue to take pride in their local government.
The Human Resource Department maintains the personnel files and employment information for each employee, administers all employee benefits offered by the county, and recruits/refers applicants to the hiring departments. We are committed to providing the citizens and taxpayers of Monroe County with the most responsive governmental services possible.
