ROAD CLOSING

HARRELL ROAD:  This area will remain closed through mid September, 2012 for water line installation.  Work will begin at the north end of Harrell Road and proceed south. Harrell Road will be closed to through traffic for the duration of this project.  Access  to properties will be maintained.  The work zone for the week of May 21, 2012 will be in the 4100 & 4200 block of Harrell Road. Traffic control devices will be in place. LOW GAP ROAD, APPROXIMATELY 3.4 MILES NORTH OF ANDERSON ROAD (9700 BLOCK):  This  area will remain closed for structure replacement through approximately June 7, 2012, a detour is posted. Any questions on this matter may be referred to John Collisson, Monroe County Highway Department, Project Engineering Supervisor, or Bill Williams, Monroe County Public Works Director/Highway Engineer, at 812 349-2555.
 

UTILITY WORK

SMITHVILLE/LAKE MONROE/HARRODSBURG AREA: Smithville Telephone will have crews working in the
right-of-way in the following areas from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm daily the week of May 21, 2012, lane restrictions
are possible.

Fairfax Road
S. Old State Road 37
Smithville Road
Victor Pike
Zikes Road
                    
ELLETTSVILLE AREA:  Smithville Telephone will have an ongoing project with crews working in the right-of-way in the following locations: McNeely Street and everything north as well as Lakeview Drive going south to SR 46 and McNeely to Mathews Drive, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm daily the week of May 21, 2012, with lane restrictions possible.

Paddington Park:  Briarwood Lane
