The Monroe County Street and Road Management Thoroughfare Plan and Capital Improvement Program was adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Monroe County, Indiana in December 1995 and amended in January of 1997. This plan was put in place to guide long term, comprehensive, road construction and maintenance activities within the unincorporated areas of Monroe County and to promote the health, safety, comfort and general welfare of the citizens of Monroe County, Indiana.
