6/12/2015 9:44:00 AM Recording Cut-Off 3:30pm, beginning August 1st

The offices of Monroe County Government operate from 8-4 Monday through Friday. Beginning August 1st, 2015, the Recorder's office will stop recording documents at 3:30 each day. Documents to be recorded that are brought in after 3:30 will be recorded first thing the next business day. We are one of the few offices in the state of Indiana that has been recording right up to close of business. We feel that by implementing this change, we will increase our office's efficiency and efficacy, as it is our responsibility to ensure proper recording of your documents.
