Survey
This storm water survey was administered by the Soil and Water Conservation District Office at the 2004 Monroe County Fair in compliance with Phase II of the Clean Water Act. A total of 644 fairgoers took a few moments to answer questions about storm water quality in Monroe County.

in the last three years?

tested at the Farm Bureau Cooperative?
8. Do you use a lawn care service?
9. Is your lawn cut with a mulching mower blade?
10. Is storm water runoff a consideration in the
amount or type of fertilizer, insecticide, or herbicide used
on your lawn?
11. Do you think that most streams in Monroe County
are safe for swimming, wading, and fish consumption?
12. Would you support an annual fee under $5 to
maintain practices intended to clean storm water runoff?
13. Have you visited the Monroe County website dealing
with storm water quality (www.co.monroe.in.us/stormwaterquality)?
