Vernal Pike, east of Enterprise Drive and west of State Road 37: This area will be closed to through traffic until July 2011. Local traffic will still have access to the existing businesses and homes in the area. Traffic needing to get to the area west of Packinghouse Drive (W. Woodyard Road, Enterprise Drive, Logan Street and those west of Packinghouse Drive on Vernal Pike) should come from Curry Pike  to their point of destination.  A detour will be marked using SR 37 to SR 48 to Curry Pike. For further information contact Tim Daggy, Vernal Pike Field Office, 339-2863.

Woodyard Road between Curry Pike & Vernal Pike: This area will be closed to through traffic until July 2011. Local traffic will still have access to the existing homes in the area. Mt. Gilead Road @ Getty’s Creek Road: This area will be closed to through traffic until October 1, 2010 for bridge construction.  Detours will be posted.

 

ROAD CONSTRUCTION

Brookwood Drive, 100 feet north of Sycks Court: This area will remain under construction for paving.

Kerr Creek Road between 5801 – 6025: Beginning on Wednesday, September 1, through Thursday, September 2, 2010, this area will be under construction for shoulder repair, lane restrictions are possible, please use caution while traveling in this area.

Smith Pike @ the Orscheln entrance: Beginning Monday, August 30, through Thursday, September 2, 2010, this area will be under construction to repair a storm culvert, lane restrictions are possible, please use caution when using this area, delays are possible.

Vernal Pike between Curry Pike and State Road 37: This area will be under construction until July 2011 for road reconstruction.
