Who We Are

Educators

Through 4-H programs in virtually every community in the state, we help young people learn leadership and citizenship, develop life skills, and form attitudes that help them become productive members of society with high self-esteem. We involve parents, volunteers, and professional staff who create educational opportunities in family and community settings.

Our responsibility is to help improve the quality of life of individuals and families, as well as improve economic and social well-being throughout the state. Extension consumer and family science programs help people extend their incomes, improve their health, as well as strengthen personal and family relationships in a changing environment.

The Ag & Natural Resources Program offers a wide range of materials and resources related to livestock, crops, soils, agricultural profitability, weed control, farm management, home horticulture, gardening, insect identification and control as well as information  on natural  resource conservation and management.
