Expired plates, expired license, equipment failure, headlights, muffler, and illegal window tint violations MAY be dismissed with proof of the violation being resolved within five businesses days from the date of citation. Proof needs to be presented to the Monroe County Clerk’s Office. It may take more than five business days for the citation to pull up in our system to allow for dismissal, but the five days applies to the time required of the alleged offender to resolve the cited violation.
